After over a year I am back to full time work, so back to making and posting bentos.
In my mr bento tomorrow
Smallest container: dolmas
Next smallest: orange slices
Medium container: sliced rotisserie chicken breast
Largest: vinaigrette salad consisting of snow peas, baby cucumber, cherry tomatoes halved, in olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing
Yay bento! I will have to figure out how to post pics from my blackberry on lj.
And tomorrow- pot roast! I set up a small beef roast in my crockpot which I will have for dinner tomorrow and lunch the next day (and probably longer than that!)

can anyone provide me with the bottom of the smallest container? it broke when it fell out of the fridge. it's not the meat one, its the small snack container. I'd be very grateful.

I'm not currently working, but my husband is. and he had been eating the school lunch (he's a teacher) and I'm like... no, no you're not doing that. so I've been packing him bento lunches and he says it makes him feel loved, on top of being tasty.
some examples over the last week or two-
frozen shrimp and chicken garlic sausage
frozen fetuccini alfredo
tomato and cucumber vinaigrette salad
3 clementines, peeled
chicken and black beans
jasmine rice
fresh cherry tomato and corn salad
frozen cherries and blueberries with vanilla yogurt
he really likes the cherry-blueberry stuff, I do that a lot.
I'm really enjoying this.

Voila, le this week's bento:

Overview of all dishes. This week was surprisingly quick and easy - or not so surprising, considering that the only dish I "cooked" was the curry, and that was by definition "quick and easy" curry. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to eating tomorrow.
( Individual dish details behind the cut. )
Thanks for looking!

Hello, new member here! I love my Mr. Bento and I've been using it since my aunt bought it for me for last year's birthday, but I hadn't joined any bento communities because, let's be honest, Mr. Bento isn't quite as cute as anything the other communities have got going on.
So I was glad to find you all!
Overview pic:

( Individual dish pics and details under the cut )
I tend to do my bento on a weekly, rather than daily basis, so that I use up Sunday for most of the dish prep time then I throw everything into plastic containers and portion it out each day. But I have nearly a years' worth of previous bento posts so I figure I can unload those until I'm caught up here. =)
